At Nuns Cottage Bed & Breakfast we provide three lovely letting bedrooms for our guests with comfy beds, high-quality bedding and a superb breakfast cooked to order . Our guests receive extra touches including A sociable Welcome with Advice and Guidance on Places to Visit Mineral Water and Fresh Milk for Beverages Well Stocked Hospitality Trays Serviced rooms in a Peaceful and Quiet yet Central Location Flat Screen TV, Free Internet Access etc. Guest Lobby/Lounge with Small Library/DVD’s/Magazines Private Bathrooms with Fluffy Robes & Slippers All presented in a unique Grade II Listed building, Nuns Cottage is full of character and run with passion and attention to detail. Located in the centre of Richmond, everything is on your doorstep including the cobbled Market Square, the Georgian Theatre Royal and Richmond Castle. Richmond is the gateway to the North Yorkshire Dales National Park and the perfect base from which to explore the surrounding countryside. We are situated directly on Nuns Close Car Park, and can offer our guests free permit parking, and have electric charging points directly outside our entrance. All our guests park free right outside our gates in Nuns Close Car Park using permits we provide.
The cottage is a 5 minutes' walk from Richmond Market Place, which is accessible from the alley at the bottom of Nuns Close car park. The Georgian Theatre Royal is also a 4-minute walk away, whilst Richmond Castle and Richmondshire Museum are both 7-minutes' walk away. Many lovely places to walk around Richmond including Hudswell National Trust Woods approximately half a mile from Nuns Cottage, Richmond Falls, Easby Abbey etc.

Nuns Cottage is a Grade II Listed building therefore, due to its age, it has uneven floors and paving, and low ceilings.

All guests must read Nuns Cottage Accessibility statement as a condition of the booking, this will be emailed to you once your booking has been confirmed. Please contact the property prior to booking if you have any questions regarding the suitability of the accommodation.

Please note that the WiFi is only suitable for web browsing, social media and light streaming.

Kindly note the guest is liable for any damages made to the property by themselves during their stay, and will be charged for damages if necessary.

Please note that this property operates a no-shoe policy while inside. Shoes are not permitted to be worn upstairs or in the bedrooms. Guests will be provided slippers, or may bring their own if they wish.
