Pantile Lodge at Cafe Maelmin is in the village of Milfield, near Wooler, and provides really private guest accommodation. The rooms have their own private access - so you don't get the feeling your in someone's home. Plus all rooms are on the ground floor and are an easy short walk from the parking area.
We have been providing accommodation to travellers for the past ten years in our self-catering cottages - and the B&B is a new venture to complement them.
Milfield is a small village just north of Wooler in Northumberland. There are views to the Cheviot Hills and the farming countryside that surrounds. It's a short drive to the many castles that were built centuries ago to defend the area and the border towns of Kelso, Berwick-upon-Tweed and Alnwick are 20minutes away by car. Beaches at Bamburgh or a visit to Holy Island is easy to do from here.
