Welcome! Pearl Cottage was built in 1837, one of 4 houses known as Albert Vlilas. Their distinctive windows make them unique in the village. The name Albert Villas may have been given to them in 1839 when Queen Victoria and Albert were married.

Neighborhood info

When people think of the Cotswolds, they'd see Blockley in their minds eye I'm sure. Gorgeous honey-colored Cotswold stone houses and walls, very little traffic, quiet lanes, surrounded by rolling green hills and beautiful scenery. We have two great local pubs, a village shop and a friendly café serving delicious treats. We even have a village green,. a bowling lawn, and a church with bells. The TV series Father Brown is made here. And just minutes away we have some of the loveliest walks. Broadway, Chipping Campden, and Moreton in Marsh are less than 15 minutes away, among the many beautiful villages there are to see. Cheltenham with its famous racecourse and music / literary festivals is 20 miles away, and Stratford on Avon, where Shakespeare was born and lived, also 20 miles away.
