We had a change of career a few years ago, and purchased a small number of holiday cottages in the Peak District, which we look after personally. We work in the Peak District, so are always nearby on-call should you need any help or support during your stay. Peak Holidays is a trading name for blue limes ltd a small family owned company, which has been trading since 1999.

Phoenix Cottage is a stone built cottage situated close to the centre of Bakewell, with private parking for one car. Centrally located in a beautiful part of the Peak District National Park, this upside-down house is an ideal location for exploring on foot with lovely walks from the doorstep, or riding a bike through the many quiet lanes and footpaths of the area. This cottage is full of character and includes two bedrooms and a family bathroom, with a Jacuzzi bath. Pets are welcome – please note that this cottage does not have a large outdoor space – but there are numerous short and long walks available from the door. This is an upside down house. The bedrooms and bathroom are downstairs and the living area and kitchen upstairs. We ask that dogs are not allowed in the bedrooms, left alone in the cottage, or allowed onto the furniture.

Bakewell is idyllically situated on the banks of the river Wye, the biggest town in the Peak District National Park’s mellow stone buildings, medieval five-arched stone bridge and quaint courtyards. Bakewell is also extremely popular with visitors and offers a good selection of shops, pubs and restaurants as well as a frequent local markets and is probably best known for its unique and delicious Pudding.
