Pilgrim Cottage is a very pretty and deceptively large Grade II Listed, 4-bedroom, 2-bathroom, Cotswold stone property, located in the heart of the village of Bourton-on-the-Hill. The cottage sleeps 8 across 1 king size bedroom, 2 doubles and 1 twin, with ample room for a travel cot. Enjoying an elevated position with outstanding views, the cottage has been lovingly restored with a wealth of character, including exposed beams, original flagstone floors, fireplaces and, in the rear part of the cottage (not see from the roadside) features one of the last remaining Cruck barn frames in the UK. Please note a 25% deposit is required at the time of booking. This is fully refundable up to 60 days of arrival when your remaining balance payment is due. It is the policy of this property not to take bookings for groups where the majority of guests are under the age of 25, or single-sex group celebrations, including stag/hen parties. Please note that additional guests above the maximum capacity are not permitted.

The Horse & Groom, an award-winning pub, is just a few minutes’ stroll from Pilgrim Cottage, serving great food and real ales, with a beer garden and an open fireplace. The renown Batsford Arboretum is a short stroll from the cottage. The Arboretum’s Garden Terrace Café is open to all (without paying to enter the gardens) and serves breakfast, hot lunches and teas. (Monday to Friday from 9.30am to 5pm, Saturday 9.30am to 5pm and from 10am to 5pm on Sundays.) Less than 2 miles away is the widely acclaimed Blockley Village Shop & Café, which sells a wide range of groceries and basics, local produce, newspapers and magazines, fresh and frozen meats, wines and beers, ready meals and much more. The cafe is fully licensed and offers coffee, breakfasts, lunches and evening meals (Fri and Sat only).
