Rod and Sue Forrestill have previously renovated a guest house in the local area but felt that the size of the rooms limited what they wanted to offer guests. We have renovated Plas Gorwelion with larger king sized suits on a room only basis with microwave and fridge but provide a starter pack for breakfast and tea making facilities. Rod and Sue offer a warm and friendly welcome to their family run Plas Gorwelion guest house. (Welsh for large building on the horizons). They are passionate about wishing guests a memorable stay, arriving as guests but to leave as friends.

Since purchasing the guest house Rod and Sue have started to extensively renovate and refurbish. They wish to bring the building to a high standard to include new plumbing, boilers and electrics. Everything changed will be upgraded to the standard expected to provide a safe environment and up to date certification to adhere to the latest regulations. For the comfort of guests, they intend to turn the 16 bedroom guest house into 7 kingsized adult only suites. One of the suites will be a two bedroom for four adults. Each room will have a King sized bed with plenty of storage, hairdryer, a lounge area with flat screen t.v. and extended tea making facilities with separate sink microwave and fridge to store wine etc. We are room only but do give a starter pack of hot drinks, milk, cereal and juice etc. All bathrooms will have extra long showers with vanity units and complementary toiletries. Binoculars will be available to enhance the magnificent vews and the garden area make a comfortable way of watching the sunset.

Plas Gorwelion is situated on Llandudno’s picturesque west parade where you can experience a peaceful atmosphere with breath-taking sea views of the Conwy estuary, mountains, Snowden, Anglesey and puffin island. To the rear there are views of the great Orme. (Meaning serpent by the Vikings) West shore beach is very popular for water sports and hosts a boating lake, a play area and plenty of walks on the doorstep. For the shopaholics there is plenty of retail therapy within walking distance and restaurants, cafes and bars a short walk into town. The bus stops are just outside the premises taking you to other north wales destinations.
