The Barn is set in the crofting area a mile from Plockton village and is formed by the conversion of the byre and hayloft at Camus Fearn. The décor is modern with tiled and wood floors, rugs and lots of windows. Accessed along a quiet road. It enjoys panoramic views and is surrounded on three sides by sea lochs and the mountains of Skye, Applecross, Torridon. There is private parking area and a decking with plenty of room to sit out.
My name is Aileen, and I was born and brought up in Plockton, and I love living here. I am new to Airbnb, but have been letting my holiday home for 7 years. I enjoy meeting new people and always up for a chat. You will normally be met on arrival after that we leave you in peace. Barn is the grounds of my house and I am available to handle any concerns or questions.
The property is a mile from the beautiful village of Plockton which has two Hotels each with a bar and restaurant a further restaurant and small shop. Kyle of Lochalsh and the bridge to Skye are 7 miles away. Kyle has shops including a pharmacy, post office, butcher and supermarket. Eilann Donan Castle is 13miles away The Barn is in a rural setting ten minutes walk from the shoreline of Loch Carron, there are many great walks around the area to suit all abilities and taste.
