Quaker cottage is a cosy cottage on a working farm with wonderful views across to Painswick, the Queen of the Cotswolds. Numerous walking routes are available on your doorstep or just take a quick 20 minute stroll to the village for a drink in The Oak or something to eat in one of the local eateries.
The cottage has 2 bedrooms with king size bids and high quality bedding. An open plan kitchen, living and dining area. Without doubt the main feature are the large bi-fold doors out on to the patio area where you can sit and drink in the wonderful Cotswold views. If you can tear your eyes away from the view, the cottage is equipped with a state of the art Sky Glass TV. The kitchen has a double oven, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and washer/dryer.
Kate is the farmer of the family and is usually found on the farm either exercising one of the five horses or attending to the sheep. We have a rare breed flock of Swiss Valais Blacknose and a couple of Cotswolds.
There are plenty of things to do in the area. Painswick is steeped in history with the main focus point being St Mary’s church and churchyard where you can learn about the legend of the 99 trees.
Other places of interest are Painswick Rococco Garden, Cotswold villages of Stow-on-the-wold , Burford, Bibury Trout farm, Cotswold towns of Cirencester and Stroud (both of which have great farmers markets), Cirencester water park and Adam Hensons Cotswold Farm Park.
