We pride ourselves on our sustainability/carbon reduction efforts by - Provision of EV charge point for guests to use. Solar energy generation and solar I boost technology for hot water. Environmentally friendly soap, toiletries and washing products. Organic fruit vegetables which guests can pick from the garden. Use of kayaks. We aim to provide an environment which promotes wellness, relaxation and opportunities for hiking & outdoor adventures. Guided walks are also on the menu.

We hope guests feel welcome and comfortable. There is an abundance of things to do especially outdoor adventures including hiking the highest mountain in England, swimming in the deepest lake. Or you can relax and enjoy the peace & tranquility. We are here to help enhance your stay.

The Ratty railway and exploring Eskdale. Muncaster Castle is beautiful and hosts multiple events - including the increasingly popular "race the tide" 10k run in August. The Inn @Ravenglass for excellent food & not forgetting Ravenglass homemade ice cream parlour.
