Your hosts are Lisa and Sandy, as well as their daughter Keira, son Alexander and cat Wilson. Lisa and Sandy were both born and raised in Fort William. With Lisa returning in 2019 after spending 7 years in Australia and travelling the world. Both love the outdoors and enjoy eating out and give plenty recommendations on things to do and places to eat. Local knowledge is extensive - like having your own personal tourism information on site. Both hosts travel a lot socially and professionally and as such would like to extend to guests the type of treatment, they would like to receive themselves, in a homely atmosphere. We love to meet people from different walks of lives and cultures.

Ravenswood Pod is a modern luxury pod situated in the grounds of Ravenswood House in Corpach just 4 miles from Fort William. An ideal base to explore the Highlands of Scotland i.e. Isle of Skye, Mallaig, Glenfinnan and Glencoe. It is a completely self-contained, flexible and versatile pod that is packed with all the features you need for a comfortable stay. Inside there is a comfy double bed with beautiful cotton bed linen and sumptuous pillows and duvet. There is a fully equipped kitchen including microwave, hob/oven, fridge/freezer, airfryer, kettle and toaster, crockery and cutlery. There is also a fully equipped shower room with toiletries and towels included. The Pod has it’s own private decking with table and chairs which looks on to our garden stream. Bed linen, towels, tea & coffee and milk are provided. Free onsite parking is available. Alternatively, the bus stop is less than a five minute walk away and Corpach train station is a five minute walk.

Ravenswood Pod is ideally located for visiting the Island of Skye, Glen Coe and Loch Ness. Close to a range of activities including climbing, walking and cycling trails (including the west highland way and great glen way), salmon fishing, horse riding , golf, kayaking and sailing. The Jacobite Steam Train doubling as the famous Hogwarts Express can be seen and heard daily as it whizzes passed directly in front of the property. The world famous Ben Nevis Distillery is a short drive away and a must see and do is Neptune's Staircase within a few minutes walk - Telford's flight of Locks on the Caledonian Canal, the footpath of which forms a major part of the Great Glen Way. Nevis Range Scotland's premier outdoor sports area is on our doorstep offering all the winter sports you could imagine and is the venue every year for World Cup class mountain biking events - reinforcing Fort William is very much the Outdoor Capital of the UK. More than enough to see and do for you? Fort William is probably best known because our Highland town is located at the foot of the highest mountain in the UK - Ben Nevis. Each year more than 500,000 people visit Fort William to climb up the mountain
