Riding House Farm Cottages – Luxury Stay in Castleton, Peak District Enjoy a relaxing stay at Riding House Farm Cottages, Milkmaids and Shepherds cottage beautifully restored 5-Star Gold Award self-catering cottages in Castleton, Peak District National Park. Set on the slopes of Lose Hill, the cottages offer stunning panoramic views over Hope Valley, Castleton village and Peveril Castle. Converted from an ancient stone barn, each cottage combines traditional character with modern comfort, including high-quality interiors, fully equipped kitchens and high-speed WiFi. Located on a working Derbyshire hill farm, guests can enjoy an authentic countryside experience. In spring you may see newborn lambs, and year-round you can visit the calves and feed the hens. Wildlife and a peaceful bluebell wood surround the property. It’s a true walker’s paradise, with direct access to the Great Ridge, Mam Tor, Lose Hill and Edale straight from your door. We are just a 15-minute walk to Castleton village, home to Peveril Castle and the famous Peak District caverns. Attractions such as Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall and Eyam are within easy reach.
