I have enjoyed a long career as a Maths teacher and on a part time basis still teach students who are in hospital. I like to travel, visiting many places over the years - including China, Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia and many more including lots more local European countries. I enjoy exploring and discovering all about different cultures and food. Over the years I have hosted many nationalities and enjoy finding out about their country as much as they do about mine. I am heavily involved in the charity "It's Good 2 Give" which provides Physical and Mental wellbeing support to young cancer patients and their families in Scotland, including respite breaks, in a purpose built retreat on the shores of Loch Venachar. This gives the families the time, space and the calm they need at this difficult time. Having properties in both England and Scotland keeps me busy bouncing between them but having guests write such generous comments in their reviews is a great reward. When I do get some downtime at home I enjoy hill walking, cycling and socialising with friends and family.

River Terrace is a traditional stone built terraced property, located in quiet street in Lancaster. It is within easy walking distance to all Lancaster attractions, shops, restaurants, bars. It is close to the an extensive network of traffic-free cycle paths. The property comprises of an open plan living space, with sofas and a dining room table. At the rear of the property is the kitchen which benefits from a fridge freezer, cooker, washing machine and a Dualit toaster and kettle. The kitchen is equipped with all the dishes, pots and pans needed if you choose to eat in. Upstairs, two double bedrooms, fitted with cosy duvets and a bathroom, comprising of a shower over the bath, so you can choose to have a long soak or a speedy shower.

River terrace is situated on a quiet street, just a few metres from the banks of the River Lune, from where views of the Castle and Priory can be seen. Just a short walk to Lancaster City Centre enables you to access all Lancaster has to offer. Close by is the start of a comprehensive cycle way that allows you to cycle away from the traffic.
