Stepping into the tranquil retreat of Sage Cottage you are immersed in this calm country cottage setting. Throughout there are exposed beams, shuttered windows, and fresh white walls accented with soft sage greens and natural tones. You can bring the outdoors in by opening the patio doors in the open-plan living area and enjoy the village views from the front of the cottage. Spread across three floors there is space for your group to spend time together, or apart. Walks from the door take you through neighbouring woods and on your return you can spend time talking around the wood burner. Sage Cottage in Blockley is a place to treasure time spent together in a beautifully serene part of the country. Please note a 25% deposit is required at the time of booking. The Slaughters are two picturesque villages full of unique character and stunning architecture. Joined by the River Eye, Upper and Lower Slaughter are a short walk apart and create a romantic setting for breaks away. In Lower Slaughter is the much-photographed Ford Bridge which crosses the river in front of a row of Cotswold stone cottages. In the village is the Church of Saint Mary, a Village Hall and two restaurants set in beautiful buildings. You might find you don’t want to leave this idyllic location, but you can easily reach Stow-on-the-Wold, Bourton-on-the-Water and even Cirencester and Cheltenham in around 30 minutes.
