The nearby lake of Llyn Geirionnydd is within walking distance. Betws-y-Coed, the gateway to Snowdonia, is about 4 miles away with its railway museum, shops and riverside walks, whilst for the more adventurous, the family-friendly treetop nets at Zip World Fforest is a must for thrill seekers.
