Sutherland House is a Five Star accredited guest house in the delightful seaside town of Deal in Kent. Established over thirty years ago in a typical Edwardian property it is constantly being updated to provide modern,comfortable facilities within a traditional environment. We are a small establishment which offers accommodation in an atmosphere of privacy featuring en suite rooms with complementary Wi Fi, flat screen televisions and private parking. Our public areas , including lovely gardens, sitting room and an honesty bar are totally open and available to guests at all times.For total flexibility, breakfasts are provided if required and are cooked to order but paid for in addition to our room only rates at a very reasonable cost! ,
Gerald Hindman the resident owner and manager was trained in all aspects of hospitality and has been a Fellow of the Institute of Hospitality for over forty years and his love of Sutherland House is only surpassed by his desire to make every guest feel totally at home during their stay
SUTHERLAND HOUSE is situated in a residential area of Deal about fifteen minutes stroll to the town centre and the seafront beyond. This means we are able to offer complementary parking in our own grounds.
