The Bakehouse in Port Isaac is a delightful and cosy retreat for two where you can embrace village life by the sea on the North Cornwall coast.

Neighborhood info

Film location of Doc Martin TV series where it is fondly name 'Port Wenn'. And The Fishermans Friend Movies Port Isaac has lots of lovely places to eat from fine dining at Nathan Outlaws Michelin Star restaurants to quaint teashops, where you can relax with a drink and take in all the sights and sounds of this vibrant fishing village. The South West coast path can be joined via Roscarrock Hill taking you around Lobber point and on as far as Port Quin with Doyden Castle and the more fittier you feel on to Polzeath. This is a stunning stunning but challenging stretch of coast. The nearby towns of Wadebridge and Camelford are both about 10 minutes away by car, offering banks, sports centres and more independent shops. For the surfers and boogie-boarders pack the car for a day trip to nearby Polzeath beach, while Rock offers ideal conditions for sailing and waterskiing along the Camel estuary. You can also catch the ferry from Rock to Padstow to explore this historic harbour.
