In the centre of the town. Breakfast was lovely. Car park over the road. Which is free from 6pm to 8pm. So if you buy a ticket after six then the time starts from 8am the next day.

This is a homely hotel with great staff. Situation in the centre of activities and shopping is excellent. Restaurant offers good choice and is very efficient. Street outside is very quiet at night.

Nestled in the heart of Church Stretton, The Bucks Head is a traditional Shropshire pub, blending historic charm with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Surrounded by the rolling hills, often described as 'Little Switzerland', The Bucks Head has long been a favourite for walkers, locals and visitors looking to relax and enjoy good food alongside genuine hospitality. Explore local landmarks such as The Long Mynd, Cardingmill Valley and The Stretton Hills before retiring to one of our three named en suite bedrooms and enjoying a warming dinner in our restaurant.
Alex and Richard are both chefs who specialise in local produce, pub classics and great pastry dishes. They are both Shropshire born and extremely passionate about their trade.
Church Stretton is a historic town sitting within the Shropshire Hills - a perfect destination for walkers, cyclists and nature lovers. One of the main highlights is The Long Mynd, a vast heathland plateau offering panoramic views, hiking trails, wildlife and opportunities for activities such as paragliding and horse riding.
