Set in the heart of Hastings Old Town - a gorgeously renovated Tudor cottage. Rich decor, log burner and 5 minutes walk to the beach, make this the perfect stay for both warm balmy summers and cosy winters. Furnished to high standards with maximalist living areas , a stylish kitchen and luxurious free standing bath with shower. The tiny courtyard garden provides seating for breakfast or guests can enjoy a 3 minute stroll to local bakery and coffee shops. The cottage has a cosy living room with log burner and internet tv. A dining room that seats 4 but table can be extended to 8 if needed. There is fully functioning kitchen with brand new appliances, and a luxurious bathroom. The garden has a seating area which is lovely for breakfast and an outhouse within which you will find a washer dryer.
Guests gain entry via a key safe located next to the front door.
They have full use of the property.
The property is managed by Angela and owned by myself.
I created the cottage as a retreat for myself as I am a semi retired Art teacher and artist.
First contact if any problems would be through Angela who is local to the area. I am 40 minutes drive away if needed.
Hastings is a vibrant town with many festivals taking place throughout the year.
Bonfire Night, Pirate Weekend 'Jack in the Green', Carnival Week, The Beer Festival to name but a few...of note the Bonfire Procession, Carnival and Jack in the Green parades go right past the cottage so the elevated position makes this a perfect viewing space to pull up a chair and enjoy a glass of wine.
A large public car park is 5 mins walk away and there is meter parking on certain parts of the street.
Main line trains get you to London within 90 mins from the station a 15 minute walk away.
