Located right next to the beautiful Treyarnon Bay, The Foxcove is a perfect base from which to explore the local coves and beaches. Follow the Southwest Coast Path in either direction and you can choose from short and accessible walks or more adventurous coastal challenges, but whatever you choose, the backdrop will be spectacular. A short drive away is St Merryn, which has everything you need for your holiday supplies. A well-stocked shop, bakery and surf shop sit around the crossroads, as well as several wine bars and pubs which all serve food all year round. The Cornish Arms, a pub owned by Rick Stein is a short stroll towards the church and is a great spot for cosying up next to the fire in the winter, or outdoor dining in the summer. A few miles further is Padstow, home to a large selection of eateries including Rick Steins flagship, the Seafood Restaurant as well as Paul Ainsworth’s highly regarded No 6 and the always buzzing Prawn On The Lawn. If fine dining isn’t your thing, you can be assured that you are never more than a few metres away from a wide choice of pasty or fish and chip options to keep the whole family fed and happy. Look out for seasonal pop-ups from some well-regarded chefs, they have a habit of appearing where you least expect them!
