The Old Laundry is a ground-floor bungalow in the heart of Exford, offering comfortable accommodation for up to 6 guests across three bedrooms, making it well suited to couples wanting extra space or small families. There is one king-size bedroom, one double bedroom and one twin bedroom, along with a single shower room comprising a walk-in shower, toilet and hand basin (no bath).
The spacious kitchen is well equipped with an electric cooker and hob, microwave, large American-style fridge-freezer, dishwasher, kettle and toaster, plus all crockery, cutlery, glasses and cookware needed for your stay. The open-plan living and dining area has comfortable seating, a dining table and a smart TV, with wireless broadband available throughout the property. A hairdryer is provided, and bed linen and towels are included (please bring your own beach towels). A high chair is available on request, though a travel cot is not provided.
There is just one small step up to the front door, and once inside the property is entirely on the ground floor. To the rear, an enclosed patio and courtyard garden can be accessed via double doors from the living area (two steps up), featuring a table with six chairs, a large parasol, a fire pit/bbq and a gravel area with potted plants. The space is fully enclosed by fencing and a five-bar gate, offering total privacy with no overlooking neighbours.
Ample parking is available outside the property for up to two or three cars.
Dogs are welcome by prior arrangement, up to a maximum of three per booking, with a supplement of GBP 25 per dog. Dogs should be kept off the furniture and must not be left alone in the property. The property is suitable for guests with restricted mobility but is not wheelchair accessible. Electricity and heating are included in the price, and The Old Laundry is strictly non-smoking. Safety features include exterior lighting, a smoke detector, fire extinguisher and first-aid kit.

Exford has two popular pubs that both serve lunch and evening meals, there is also the village tea shop, and the village shop that sells various essentials. Exford is situated in the centre of Exmoor National park offering great access to all that Exmoor has to offer. It is a small rural village based around a traditional village green with childrens play area, beside it sits the village shop. Exford and the surrounding area is famous for its beautiful and unspoiled countryside making it ideal for hiking, biking, riding and fishing. There are many miles of way-marked paths down the valley following the river Exe, or over the moors of Exmoor to the coast a short drive away. The Exmoor coastal towns of Lynmouth, Porlock and Minehead are a short drive away whilst Taunton and the M5 are only 26 miles away. Just 10 minutes from Exford is Alderman's Barrow, just one example of the opportunity explore an incredible Bronze age Landscape, with its mysterious stone settings, barrow and hut circle. A footpath runs from Alderman's Barrow to Larkbarrow which is the ruins of an isolated farm that was used for firing practice during World War II. This area is described by Exmoor National Park...
