We decided to leave the city and relocate to the country side in the heart of Wales where we have renovated our beautiful Country Home. We love meeting people from all over the world and welcoming them to our home. We enjoy reading, exercising, travelling, and exploring. Living at the Skreen is a whole new way of life for us and a fabulous welcoming experience for all our guests. We serve all locally sourced produce for a hearty breakfast to set you up for the day.

The Skreen is a beautiful country home set in 6 acres of landscaped gardens situated in the picturesque Wye Valley within the triangle formed by Hay-on-Wye, Brecon and Builth Wells. Recently refurbished to a high standard we offer 4 luxury boutique, individually styled King and Double rooms with en-suite/bathrooms all named after the trees in the gardens. All the rooms have breathtaking panoramic views of the Black Mountains, Wye Valley and Gardens. Toiletries, tea/coffee facilities, flat screen TV, hairdryer, robes, towels are included. Complimentary Full English Breakfast is provided in the opulent dining room with inglenook fireplace and built in wood burning stove. Well known for no light pollution and no noise either, breathe the freshest air and view amazing sunsets and stargazing skies making it the perfect getaway and a peaceful night's sleep. We offer a great location, amazing views a warm welcome. Plenty of on-site parking and all our ingredients for breakfast are sourced locally with fresh eggs from the local farm.

Set in the Heart of Wales with fantastic views over looking the Black Mountains and Wye Valley, not far from the Brecon Beacon National Park, Hay-on-Wye and Builth Wells where there are a host of outdoor activities including walking, canoeing, pony trekking, cycling, sailing, hill walking, exploring castles, Pembrokeshire coast and beaches. Cleanest pure air and amazing stargazing skies and stunning sunsets. There are plenty of places to eat and drink all serving delicious food from the local pubs to restaurants just a short drive away. Easy access transport routes.
