The room is a single studio room on the ground floor of our 18th Century three story house. It has one double bed and its own attached private Kitchenette (with microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge, freezer, washing machine and tumble drier, but no oven or hob). There is a private en-suite shower room with toilet. The house is a three story Georgian house. Originally a Cloth mill and then the Chippenham workhouse. It's a peaceful and centrally located location within walking distance to train station, bus station and town center. Cosy and well equipped for a short or long stay. There is a living/sitting area with fold out table and chairs, a TV with Netflix and iPlayer, free Wi-fi, and a wired Ethernet connection as well. Private external entrance to the street is on Baydons lane, access to rest of house is only via a locked door, so complete privacy is assured. Private drive way parking for one car in Macs Yard at the back of the house. Other free nearby public parking is available. Ideal for anyone working away for the week needing somewhere to stay rather than a hotel. I Enjoy Medieval Re-enactment and Skiing.

Quite location in Chippenham conservation zone. Short walk to town center and all amenities, train station and bus station. Only a 15min walk across the park to the train station with regular trains on London to Bristol line, including Bath Spa. Chippenham has a good selection of restaurants, pubs and takeaways, all very close to the house. In particular the Three Crowns is very close and is the best community and real ale pub in town.
