Hello, I am William. I love nature and encourage all to take the time to enjoy all this precious life has to offer. Whether you need to switch off, relax and unwind or if you need a break from the city or commercialised areas, we want to invite you to share in our peacful haven. We will try to make your stay as comfortable as possible and to make you feel as welcome as we can. I haven't watched TV for over a year and would love our guests to experience the same during their stay; maybe just some positive music or a fire pit under the night sky. I have lived in the area my whole live and would be happy to recommend places to visit and things to do- touristy or secrets held by the locals. Cosy, rustic, character-filled barn conversion with fantastic views over the countryside & coastline. A place to relax, reflect and be at one with nature with pretty, quaint towns and villages nearby, including Deal and Sandwich. Come and enjoy the peace, tranquility, sunsets and stars. One of the endearing barn's features is it's original varying ceiling heights. Please be mindful that the ceiling in the bathroom, bedroom and TV seating area are very low. (Some areas are 5ft7). The quirky Thatched barn is a beautiful almost hobbit home, originally built by my late father who was a Thatcher, it has been lovingly restored while keeping it's charming character and peaceful atmosphere. The views from the balcony stretch for miles and the evening stars are a real delight as light pollution is minimal. You can close the gate and forget about the rest of the world. No music outside and noise to be kept to a minimum at all times.

Peaceful, friendly Kentish village. Cosy local pubs, beautiful countryside, shingle and sandy coastline. Local cycle park, 3 major golf courses, many fisheries, selection of bars, restaurants and shops in local towns. Please note, there is no local shop in our village. The nearest shop is a 5-10 minute drive so you may wish to bring some basic provisions with you such as milk and bread, as this accommodation is self-catering. Taxis, trains, buses and vast walking and cycling routes.
