Whashton Studio is a beautiful, well appointed, light, airy, stylish space, comprising of a compact well equipped kitchen, large dining table, corner sofa, comfy bed and separate shower room. The bifold doors open onto a pretty garden and seating area with stunning views of the surrounding countryside.

We moved to North Yorkshire 25 years ago, our passion is exploring the countryside around our area by bike, kayak or on foot and we love to visit mountainous places, particularly Scotland. We love hosting our guests and are pleased to meet you on arrival ensuring you are able to quickly settle in. Having lived in the area for many years, we have great local knowledge and would be delighted to help you enjoy your stay. There is an information pack provided, with lots of useful information and suggestions for things to do.

There are plenty of country walks straight from the door, with options to take in a pub or farmshop cafe en route. The vibrant market town of Richmond is a 5 minute drive away, it is famous for its Norman Castle flanked by the magnificent fast flowing river Swale. The market towns of Barnard Castle, Hawes and Leyburn are within easy reach and worth a visit. We are fortunate to have fast road networks from our location, so you can easily take day trips to the Lake District, Harrogate, Knaresborough, York or Durham.
