Tigh Toilichte is a modest and clean 3 bedroom family property located in a quiet suburb of Fort William. The rooms are all modern, clean and welcoming with comfortable beds & flat screen tv's. The property is perfect for the outdoor enthusiast with secure storage for bicycles, skis, etc. It also proves popular with hikers, climbers and tourists who are looking for a safe base from which to visit the surrounding area. Guests enjoy a private bedroom and share all other facilities (Guest lounge / diner, Bathroom & Garden).
We (Sheila & Tamas) are experienced hosts and we are looking forward to welcoming you to our place. We love to meet and greet people from all over the world and to share with them our love of the area we are lucky enough to live in. If you have any questions about the property or the area, we are happy to provide you with information. We have compiled a digital guest handbook with lots of information to help you to make the most of your stay and it lists all our recommended "must see" local attractions, restaurants, hikes, etc. You will be sent a link to this once your booking is secured. Please note, we both have other employment as well so please bear with us - if you send us a message, we will answer it at the very earliest opportunity.
Our home is a terraced house located in in a quiet suburb of Fort William with gardens to the front and rear of the property. The house lies alongside the Caledonian Canal which is only a one minute walk away. You can see Ben Nevis and the Nevis Range from the front of the property and Neptune's Staircase is also very close by. Other attractions within a 30 minute walking distance are Old Inverlochy Castle, Ben Nevis Distillery and Treasures of the Earth. Parking is available on the street outside and is free. The bus route runs past the back of the property and Banavie train station is a two minute walk away so getting around is easy! The nearest pub serving great food is a 2 minute walk and the nearest grocery store is in the centre of the village.
