Lynwood Barn is a beautifully converted, single-storey barn that blends rustic charm with industrial chic. Tucked away in a quiet cul-de-sac on the outskirts of Midsomer Norton, this stylish retreat offers privacy while being ideally placed for exploring Bath, Wells and the Mendip Hills — with the artisan town of Frome a short drive away. THE SPACE Step through the hand-built rustic front door into a generous entrance hall, then on to the heart of the home: a stunning open-plan living space with exposed beams, high ceilings and curated modern furnishings. The fully fitted kitchen features an American-style fridge-freezer, gas hob, electric range cooker and dishwasher, with a central island and breakfast-bar stools that make meal prep a sociable affair. A large dining table with bench and chair seating is perfect for long, laughter-filled dinners. In the living area, a plush corner sofa and smaller leather sofa create a cosy spot to unwind by the electric fire or a movie on the smart TV. THE LOCATION Bath is just 25 minutes by car or via regular buses, with fast trains to London in around 90 minutes. Bristol is around 35 minutes, Frome 20, and Wells — England's smallest city — just 15. Clarks Village outlet and mystical Glastonbury are both within easy reach. Midsomer Norton offers Tesco, Sainsbury's, Lidl and local pubs, while the Mendip Hills sit right on the doorstep for walking and cycling. DOGS Well-behaved dogs welcome (maximum 2)

The property sits in a quiet residential cul-de-sac on the edge of Midsomer Norton, a relaxed Somerset town with easy access to open countryside. The White Hart, a traditional cask-ale pub, is around a fifteen-minute walk, while the Palladium Electric pub and Shapla Indian Restaurant are both within fifteen minutes on foot. Midsomer Norton Town Park, with riverside walks along the River Somer and a children's play area, is around a twenty-five-minute walk. Radstock Museum, covering the area's coal-mining heritage, is a short drive away, and the Midsomer Norton Greenway offers walking and cycling along the old railway line. Tesco, Sainsbury's and Lidl are all in town for everyday shopping. Bath is around twenty-five minutes by car, Wells fifteen minutes, Bristol about thirty-five minutes, and Cheddar Gorge roughly twenty-five to thirty minutes. Regular buses run from the High Street to Bath and surrounding towns. Bath Spa Station offers direct trains to London, and Bristol Airport is around thirty-five minutes by car.
