Ty Capel Isa is the old manse house for the attached Chapel. It was built 1840c and is of special interest and Grade 2 listed. It is a comfortable, cosy cottage that can sleep upto 4 people. It has recently been refurbished and has a new bathroom and kitchen. It is well equiped with all you should need for a relaxing stay.
I live next door to the cottage, so I am at hand should you need anything - help or advice on the area. I love to walk and enjoy baking.
The village of Dolwyddelan is a lovely, quaint place. We have our own castle and the Lledr river just around the corner from the cottage, delightful walks in abundance from the front door. The world renowned zip wire, slate caverns, steam railway are just a short distance away, which are accessible by bus, train or car. Only 2 stops on the train. The village is serviced by a local shop, pub and hotel serving food. We are only 5 miles from the popular village of Betws y Coed where there are many shops, restaurants and pubs. This is also only 2 stops away by train, or if you are feeling energetic you can walk to Betws over the hill via an abandoned village and Lake Elsi.
