Y Gwaethdy is one bedroom barn conversion on a small working farm on the outskirts of the Village of Penisarwaen 3 miles from the foot of Snowdon.The cottage has a lounge/full kitchen with electric oven and gas hob,dishwasher,fridge freezer and microwave,and a tv that has Netflix, the bathroom is downstairs with a powerful shower over the bath, bedroom is upstairs with a super king bed that is a zip and link that can be split to two singles there is also a tv in the bedroom.There are table and chairs to sit outside the cottage and a garden area to have a barbecue and take in the views of Snowdon.

We started welcoming guests on the farm in 1980 and are still enjoying meeting people, guest enjoy seeing our pedigree Welsh Black cattle that we show in the agriculture shows in the summer.

Y Gwaethdy is on the outskirts of the village of Penisarwaen and 3 miles from the village of Llanberis at the foot of Snowdon the highest mountain in England and Wales where you can walk up or take the train. Zipworld is 3 miles from Y Gwaethdy where you can take the ride of your life.Visit the many historic castles Caernarfon and Conway castle, and Beaumaris castle on Anglesey which is only a short ride away with its wonderful coastal walks and nice eating places.
