Wern Ddu is set down a private drive (private parking) in its own garden with beautiful views down to the river and of the surrounding Beacons. In the designated dark skies area of the Brecon Beacons National Park with miles of walks and exciting visitor attractions (including Pen y Fan, and Ystradfellte waterfalls) , Wern Ddu offers the perfect dog friendly escape for up to four guests in a relaxing atmosphere within a short distance from Brecon, Merthyr Tydfil and the villages of Sennybridge and Defynnog with their traditional pubs and shops.
We live on a sheep farm and have a stud of Welsh mountain ponies.

The villages of Defynnog and Sennybridge are on the road from Brecon to Llandovery, Cardiff, Swansea and Merthyr Tydfil. Despite this, the area is very rural. Wern Ddu is a mile from the villages, down a dead end lane and set back from the lane.
A car is necessary.
