Hi, I live in the fabulous seaside town of Whitstable, where I own 3 quirky vintage inspired boutiques. I love travelling with my husband, Adrian, walking my rather silly cockapoo, and spending time at the beach with the family . Most of all I like to sit on my beach hut veranda and watch a Whitstable sunset with friends, and of course a glass of wine! As a host, and founder of Whitstable-Holidays, I look after our eight family properties, with the help of husband Adrian and sons, Fred and Tom. We really are a local family business and love to share our very special seaside town with others. We are local and will endeavour to do all we can to make your stay a very pleasant one.

Willow Cottage, hosted by Whitstable-Holidays, is a fishemen cottage in a conservation area, minutes from Whitstable High Street, boasting fine eateries, art galleries, boutiques and shops, and West Beach with its pretty beach huts and fabulous Turner sunsets. In a very quiet side street, our pretty cottage is full of seaside charm, a really welcoming place to stay. The two upstairs airy bedrooms with painted floorboards and vintage finds, have super comfy beds with crisp white linen. Fluffy towels in the fresh clean bathroom and complimentary toiletries are all part of of our relaxing vibe. Downstairs you will find a separate dining room, with seating for six, and then a snug sitting room (with a sofa bed) to the front of the cottage. Stylish furniture, house plants galore, art and vintage finds give a really tasteful and contempary feel. The comprehensive kitchen, with dishwasher, washing machine, microwave etc leads to and a sunny, fully enclosed mature garden, just fabulous for alfresco dining or morning coffee. Willow Cottage just off Whitstable High Street, in the heart of old Whitstable, which is nationally renowned for its independent boutiques and fish restaurants. Right in the centre of activity, yet quiet and calm, and only a ten minute walk to the beach, and the harbour with its fishing fleet, boat trips and quaint artisan huts selling local crafts. Willow Cottage is a perfect location from which to enjoy the very best of Whitstable. Have a coffee(or a glass of wine!) in the delis, cafes and restaurants nearby, or watch the sunset from the beach. Take the train for a day trip to London (1.5 hours) from the nearby station, or go on the bus (bus stop one minute) to historic Canterbury, 7 miles away. Explore beautiful, ancient Kent with hop fields and Oast houses. Head down the coast to Margate for more seafood, super cool art and the Turner Gallery.
