We are hosts of Austurey Cottages and Austurey Lakefront villa. The villa is located next to lake Apavatn, and within the Golden circle. It takes 10 minutes to drive to the town Laugarvatn, which has a grocery store, restaurants and Fontana geothermal spa. Feel free to contact us anytime!

The property is a modern 4-bedroom villa on the bank of lake Apavatn & river Hólaá. Kayaks & fishing poles available for guests. The house is 184 m2, with a fully equipped kitchen, a terrace with a large geothermal hot tub & a seating area facing the lake. It includes free WiFI, smartTV´s, sauna, heated floors, washing machine & tumble dryer. The villa is situated isolated in nature, where the large windows face the lake. You watch and listen to the birds and see the sheep grazing from a far. Still being perfectly located within the Golden Circle, Geysir, Gullfoss Waterfall & Thingvellir National Park. It is 10 km from the town Laugarvatn where there are restaurants & Fontana Spa.

Neighborhood info

The house is located by the beach of lake Apavatn and next to the river Hólaá. There is no traffic in the area, so it is perfect place for relaxation and privacy.
