I loved the suite. I booked the solo cabin and all other cabins were 1 bedroom. The place was almost brand new. It was so spacious I almost didn't want to leave. Big windows that you can look outside right from the bed. Wonderful bathroom with big hot water tank, perfect drainage in the shower, and 100% wifi. The hist was very nice to send me information about the places to visit in the area. It was a great stay. I'd love to go back.

Loved the location and the quietness. The cabin was spacious and well appointed. In easy reach of the town and on the route of the Golden Triangle attractions. Owners gave us plenty of information of things to do and restaurants to visit and simple instructions of how to get to the cabin.

The location is stunning and the home is gorgeous with high-end finishes and appliances. Well-stocked with everything you need for your stay. The extra amenities (hottub, sauna, washer/dryer) made our stay extra special. The host met us at the property to show us around and answer any questions, which was very much appreciated.

Laugarvatn is in an excellent location between the national park to the west, and Geysir and Gulfoss Waterfall to the east. It has a beautiful view of the lake and the surrounding hills, a few restaurants, gas, and plenty of lodging.

Upon arrival my son and I were greeted by a very sweet employee. The room was clean and we had a very nice view over the lake. The room had a nice size. There is a gasstation just next door to the hotel. We stayed for two nights because it was close to Thingvellir Nationalpark. We didn't buy breakfast here, so I can't say if it was any good.

The rooms here are a very good size; plenty of space. One of the only times in Iceland (on our two-week trip) that we got a King bed. Staff are very helpful. Visiting with kids this was a paradise: an ice cream shop on site as well as a playpark. Being able to view the working farm during dinner and breakfast was another perk.

Bbq outside was perfect for a dinner in the cold weather. The cottages were very clean and tastefully decorated. Loved everything! There were sheep and birds outside the whole time and it was very cool. Went for a 30-minute run and ran past some Icelandic horses too.
