Luxury Villa in Grimsnes southern Iceland, 45 min from Reykjavik, grate location, many attraction in the area such as the Golden circle, golf courses, horse riding, and more. Three bedrooms all with King size beds. Kitchen, dining area for 8 people and living room are in one big area with the fireplace in the middle. The kitchen is well equipped with all the tools you need coffee is provided. Outdoor jacuzzi, grill and furniture with grate mountain view. In cold winter nights you can see the Northern lights from the jacuzzi and the patio
Hi I am a flight attendant with Icelandair for 21 years, married and have two daughters and just got a grandson last may. We bought this beautiful summerhouse last year and have been renovated it. It is a very quiet place and the nature is all around. I hope the guests will enjoy the stay like I and my family does. I will try to meet the guests upon arrival and show them around, if it is not possible there is a key box.
There are many attraction in the area 30 min drive to the Golden Circle Gullfoss and Geysir. Gullfoss is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Iceland, together with Geysers of Haukadalur, also 30 min drive to Þingvellir the National Park. To Fridheimar tomato greenhouse is 30 min drive, at Friðheimar, they welcome visitors to see their greenhouses, for lunch It is recommended to book a table in advance tel. 486 8894. To Efstidalur is 40 min drive there is a horse rental and a Ice cream barn. To Flúðir is about 40 min drive there is the Secret Lagoon and Farmers Bistro. To Kerið is only 7 min drive, Kerið is a volcanic crater lake, It is one of several crater lakes in the area, known as Iceland's Western Volcanic. Nearest restaurants are in Hotel Grímsborgir only 5 min walk and Þrastarlundur 3 min drive. For shopping is 15 min drive to Selfoss or Hveragerði there you will find everything you need.
