Casa Farfalla is a lovely, well-furnished holiday home, located on the enchanting lakefront of Cannobio, a few steps from the large public beach. The space is distributed over two floors, with two independent bedrooms with balcony, a bathroom, kitchen and a big bright living room. All rooms offer romantic views of the lake and the Lombard and Swiss shores. Upon request it is possible to have sheets (Euro 12 per person) and towels (Euro 8 per person). There are several public car parks nearby. Alternatively the guest can request to rent the private covered garage nearby: normal size Euro 25 per day; extra big size Euro 29 per day The house is equipped with an autonomous natural gas heating system. The cost of heating (Euro 1.50 per cubic meter) is not included in the cost of the reservation, and is calculated based on the consumption of the guest. The counter number will be taken at check-in and check-out, and the consumption made by the guest in the period in which he stayed will be calculated. The guest can freely set the desired temperature in the house. The house will be heated before the guest check-in at no additional cost. ATTENTION The house is located in the city center, and is subject to normal external noise. In the high season months, mainly July and August, the lakefront area becomes more chaotic. both for the large influx of tourists, and because of the numerous musical events organized and authorized by the Municipality of Cannobio (live band, DJ set, karaoke, culinary fastival, markets). in high season during the week the situation is quiet and relaxed, while on Fridays and Saturdays the lakefront becomes noisier. it is good to know this information to choose how to best spend your holiday according to your needs.

A few meters from Casa Farfalla you can choose from numerous restaurants, trattorias, bars, wine bars, ice cream parlors and shops. The supermarket can be reached in 1 minute on foot, as well as the information center and the pier from where it is possible to make excursions by boat to the other tourist attractions of Lake Maggiore, both Swiss and Italian. The swimming beach offers the opportunity to relax, to practice water sports and to take sailing and windsurfing courses. The area adjacent to the beach offers the opportunity to practice sports such as volleyball, soccer, tennis and to rent bicycles, boats, pedal boats and scooters. At 150 meters from the apartment the cycle path begins which, following the course of the Cannobino river, enters the valley up to the Orrido di Santa'Anna. The mountains and the Cannobina valley offer the possibility of excursions, with a network of well-marked paths that allow you to reach characteristic villages, mountain pastures and the tops of the mountains overlooking the lake and the Swiss Alps.
