The apartment has approx. 17 m² private balcony with a magical view, and the living area is approx. 40 m². The apartment is right in the historical centre of Cannobio, close to restaurants, cafe', supermarkets, beaches.. a small public beach is only 100m away from the house, and the bigger beach called 'Il Lido' is 250m away. My name is Angelita, I lived in Australia for long times but I'm now back to my own town, Cannobio. I grown up in this building, I know the history of it and of its people. The municipality of Cannobio is located on the western shore of Lake Maggiore and is the first major town after the border with Switzerland. The picturesque, lively town is one of the lake's most popular tourist centers. In Cannobio ideal wind conditions for surfing and sailing prevail and sports facilities are available for every taste: sailing schools, kitesurfing, water skiing, mini golf, paddle, tennis, fitness etc. In the immediate vicinity are located in the middle of nature beaches along the Cannobino River and a vast network of hiking and walking trails. The surrounding mountains invite you to long walks in beautiful nature. The famous weekly market of Cannobio is one of the largest weekly markets in Italy and offers a very special experience.
