CiroMenotti62 is a two-room apartment in the heart of Marina di Carrara, in a historic building owned by the founding family of Marina di Carrara, overlooking the Piazza della Chiesa. The ground-floor apartment is very bright, with excellent natural ventilation and air conditioning. It comprises a living room with kitchenette, a bedroom with a double bed, and a bathroom with a sink, shower, and toilet with a hand shower. It accommodates up to two people in a double bed and a baby aged 0 to 24 months. A travel cot or your own portable cot or stroller can be added upon request. It is equipped with air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, a flat-screen smart TV, independent heating, sheets, towels, and a welcome surprise. The kitchenette includes a refrigerator with freezer, microwave oven and grill, espresso machine (pods or ground), electric kettle, four-burner gas stove with oven, washing machine, and Dyson hob. The street-facing window has shutters, while the side windows overlooking the building's private courtyard have security grilles, mosquito nets, and a blackout curtain in the bedroom. Privacy is guaranteed by window curtains. The east side of the low-cost building was once composed of single rooms, as evidenced by an old sealed door in the bedroom, the original ceiling with exposed beams, and the step leading to the bedroom. Two steps at the entrance therefore, not accessible to wheelchair users. Beach towels and laundry can be hung out in the outdoor courtyard. Door-to-door waste sorting is available in the area. I will welcome you in person for check-in, and you can choose to check out independently (by leaving the keys in a keybox) or by handing them over to me. The apartment is strategically located for services and transportation. The Municipality of Carrara does not charge a tourist tax. A security deposit is required. Here, the quality of life is excellent; going out and walking through the pine forests is precious and rejuvenating, as is strolling on the sandy beach, and spending days at the beach in complete freedom. The location is strategic: the CiroMenotti62 building is in Piazza della Chiesa, Piazza Gino Menconi, in the heart of Marina di Carrara. The square has everything you could possibly need: a supermarket, a deli, two excellent pastry shops/bars/aperitifs, two ice cream parlors, a newsagent/stationery shop, a tobacconist, a butcher, a bakery, a fish fry shop, a hairdresser, a haberdashery, and, around the corner, a pharmacy, a pizzeria, excellent restaurants within 300 meters, and exclusive clothing stores. The public beaches and beach resorts are 900 meters away. For getting around on foot, you can rent bicycles nearby, or there's a bus stop in the square for exploring Carrara or exploring the coast in any direction. The train station, connected by bus, is 2.2 km away. From Marina di Carrara, beyond the historic center of Carrara, you can take day trips to the famous marble quarries (with organized tours), the hamlet of Colonnata famous for its lard, Vinca, Pietrasanta, hiking trails in the Apuan Alps Park, Pisa, Lucca and other historic Tuscan cities, as well as visits to the Cinque Terre, the Tigullio Gulf, Genoa and its aquarium.
