Between the silvery hills of Lerici is located this rustic little villa that from above enjoys one of the best views of the Golfo dei Poeti and the islands opposite. It is thought that at the time of the Saracen invasions, this structure served as a lookout tower. Having a view of all the possible landings in the Gulf, the structure was militarily one of the strategic points to be used to protect the village and possible assaults on Lerici Castle. The house is surrounded by greenery, plants of Bougainvillea, Olive trees, Vines and typical Mediterranean aromatic plants colour and perfume the garden. Miralunga Villetta Rossa is located in Catene di Lerici, one km from the village of Serra and two km from the centre of Lerici. A few metres from the house in the direction of La Serra you will find a roadside bar offering excellent breakfasts. Around the villa, the road has little traffic, and a few other villas in the vicinity. In the hamlet of La Serra you will find a bar, a shop with a bakery and typical km 0 products, a newsagent's and a discreet restaurant with a sea view. Lerici can be reached by a 15-minute shady walk or by the regular bus service (tickets can be bought at the bar or newsstand) and/or free shuttle bus with a frequency of 30 minutes. The walk back home takes a few extra minutes due to the climb. In the centre of Lericino you will find two Conad supermarkets, two pharmacies, countless restaurants and bars, as well as ferries connecting Lerici to the 5 terre, Portovenere and Palmaria.
