Hello! I’m Victoria. Together with my family, we created Palazzo Lari, a small gem in the heart of the historic center of Sarzana, a city to which we are deeply connected and that continues to inspire us every day with its beauty, history and atmosphere. The palace, dating back to the 17th century, has been carefully restored to preserve its historic character, maintaining authentic materials and highlighting the original architectural details. During the restoration we selected furnishings, fabrics and artisanal finishes that could harmonize with the building’s ancient spirit, creating spaces that are both elegant and welcoming. We imagined Palazzo Lari as an intimate and relaxing place where guests can feel warmly welcomed, just like at home. We love taking care of the small details and creating an authentic atmosphere of quietness, beauty and thoughtful hospitality. In the heart of the historic centre of Sarzana, along the elegant Via Mazzini and next to the charming Pieve di Sant’Andrea, Palazzo Lari Sarzana is a 17th-century historic residence where elegance, tranquillity and authentic atmosphere make every stay special. The interiors have been carefully restored, preserving the charm of the historic architecture while combining it with refined artisanal design. The spacious and bright rooms feature warm tones, canopy beds, soft draperies, burnished brass details and refined fabrics, offering an elegant and relaxing experience in the heart of the town. Thanks to its strategic location, Palazzo Lari is an ideal starting point for exploring the area between sea and historic villages. The beaches of the Golfo dei Poeti are only a few minutes away, while the famous Cinque Terre are easily reachable by train. Sarzana train station is within easy reach and offers convenient connections to the famous Cinque Terre, making Palazzo Lari an ideal base for exploring the Ligurian coast. The property is located on the second floor of a historic building and, due to architectural constraints, does not have a lift. Private parking with barrier and video surveillance is available upon reservation about a 5-minute walk away (limited spaces). Public parking areas are also available within a 3-minute walk. Upon arrival, guests will find a small welcome basket with packaged breakfast products. Just a few metres from the Teatro degli Impavidi, the Palazzo Comunale di Sarzana and Piazza Matteotti, the property allows guests to enjoy the events and lively atmosphere of Sarzana’s historic centre. Thanks to its central location, guests can easily walk to a variety of restaurants, wine bars, cafés and local shops, enjoying the authentic atmosphere of the historic centre of Sarzana

Sarzana is a lively medieval town, rich in history and local life, with streets filled with cafés, restaurants, artisan shops and a variety of boutiques. The property is located on the central Via Mazzini, in the heart of the historic center and within the ZTL (limited traffic zone), perfect for fully experiencing the authentic atmosphere of the ancient “carobi”, the characteristic narrow streets that wind through the medieval walls among artisan workshops and antique shops. Just a short walk away you will find the city’s main landmarks, including the two fortresses and the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta, which houses one of the earliest painted crosses in history. Sarzana offers a fascinating cultural experience combined with a rich food and wine tradition. A crossroads of the Via Francigena pilgrimage route, the town is also an ideal base for exploring the surrounding area. The sea can be easily reached by train towards the Cinque Terre, or by bus to Lerici, La Spezia, Marinella, Portovenere and Tellaro. Tuscany and the famous Carrara marble quarries are also just a short distance away. A territory full of history, nature and beauty waiting to be discovered.
