The rooms, brand new, charming and welcoming, are equipped with all the comforts and attention to detail to make your experience unique. Each room has a private bathroom with a large walk-in shower adorned with Vietri ceramics, hairdryer, set of towels, mini fridge and air conditioning. The accommodations are almost all with balconies overlooking the main street, the ceilings, restored, are characterized either by frescoes or by the exposed floor composed of the ancient beams restored during recent works. The structure is equipped with 1 Superior Room and 4 Standard Rooms for 2, 3 or 4 people. Towels are changed daily, while bed linen is changed every 3 days. Breakfast is included in the price, it can also be served directly in the room thanks to the agreement with the bar adjacent to the structure (extra service).

Villa Cua is a B&B/Guest House located in a historic 19th century residence, built by the engineer Antonio Cua from which it takes its name, on the main street of Herculaneum, Corso Resina. A few steps away from the archaeological excavations and the beautiful Vesuvian villas of the Miglio d'Oro, the structure offers you the opportunity to experience a unique experience, discovering the wonders of a land rich in art treasures and suggestive landscapes. Villa Cua was restored and opened in September 2018. Refined settings, elegant furnishings and a warm welcome are the characteristics that distinguish us, to make your stay unforgettable, in the name of culture and relaxation. The location is strategic. From here you can easily reach all the main places of historical and cultural interest. Villa Cua is located just 100 meters from the archaeological excavations of Herculaneum and the MAV, 5 minutes from the motorway exit and 600 meters from the Circumvesuviana station, with which you can easily reach Sorrento, Naples and Pompeii.

Neighborhood info

According to legend, the city of Herculaneum was founded in 1243 BC from Hercules, the mythical Greek hero. Thanks to the amenity of the place and the climate, it became one of the most splendid residential locations of the Roman aristocracy, who built grandiose residences here. At the end of the Republican age were built: the Basilica, the Theater, the aqueduct, the two thermal complexes and the walls were restored. The Herculaneum excavations are a spectacular plunge into the past. The terrible eruption of Vesuvius in 79 AD he erased everything in a few hours. Buried by ash and lapilli, the ancient city was unearthed, by pure chance, in 1709. The excavation work resumed in 1738 under Charles III of Bourbon who, together with his wife Maria Amalia of Saxony, chose Portici to build a new palace. From that moment, all the Neapolitan nobles followed the Bourbon court and built some villas for their summer stay in the coastal area, creating an architectural complex unique in the world for quantity and beauty: the 122 Vesuvian villas.
