ABOUT DAHLIA: DAHLIA is a boutique guesthouse with five ensuite rooms with a fan and cold water shower (because who wants to have a hot shower in this heat). At DAHLIA we don't work with room numbers - each room has its own flower, color and with that its own character. They all have the same amenities to make your stay as comfortable as possible. DAHLIA is located three minutes from the pier and beach which means a stunning bay view from our shared balcony. In the shared lounge you can read a book and relax if you feel like staying in. Downstairs you will find the bar where you can have your morning coffee (or tea) or a gin & tonic (or beer) in the evening. ABOUT M'PAI BAY: DAHLIA is located in M'pai Bay on the island of Koh Rong Samloem. M'pai Bay, also known as village 23, is a traditional fishermen's village and opened up for tourism a couple of years ago - once you arrive you'll feel the authenticity; there's no real roads (yet), power is provided by a generator (DAHLIA runs on solar) and you could easily end up drinking beers and singing karaoke with the locals (maybe even a little dance in a circle). Our village is still very small, and everything is within walking distance. Everyone knows each other, helps out where they can and supports each others businesses - which makes M'pai Bay a strong community. Everyone works together to improve our little paradise and tackle challenges that come up. Activities in M'Pai Bay can vary from very active, to doing absolutely nothing. We have our own beach where you can chill, you can walk through the jungle to Clearwater Bay, kayak around Koh Koun, go diving, take a boat trip around the island, swim with bioluminescent plankton, go snorkeling or have a gin and tonic at Dahlia ;-).
