Welcome to 112 Rural View! We are thrilled to have you come and enjoy our studio apartment which has been lovingly created by Peggy and Martin. You have an easily accessible private entrance that leads you to stairs up to the studio and your home away from home. There is parking right outside the entrance. You can collect your key from Peggy on arrival, just knock on our bright yellow door! Built in late 2018 this superior and spacious private self contained studio apartment provides you with all the features and amenities to make your stay comfortable and relaxing. Situated on a 13 hectare rural block growing lucerne, the views from your comfortable bed of the Maungatautari hills and surrounding farmland and Oaks Horse stud are a joy to wake up to. Make yourself a morning cup of java or pick from the selection of herbal or ‘gumboot’ tea in the fully functioning kitchen. Choose from homemade museli and yogurt or other cereal and toast with a choice of condiments. What a way to start the day! With both radiator and air conditioning options your stay will be warm and toasty in the winter and cool and comfy in the summer. Sky TV and free wifi complete the picture.

Peggy and Martin look forward to welcoming you to their new property. Peggy is an ex primary teacher and university lecturer who is enjoying retirement reading, walking the dog and helping Martin with landscaping and garden construction. Martin is a successful rural and lifestyle real estate agent for PGG Wrightson and is also enjoying working on the new property and creating artworks for our gardens in his spare time. His favourite time is on his digger or tractor digging or shifting dirt from one place to another! We were lucky enough to spend 3 years house sitting in the South of France so know the importance of welcoming people new to a country or area. We are excited to be able to share our beautiful studio with you and will do our best to make your stay a comfortable and happy one.

We are just a short distance to all the local Cambridge and Leamington bars, restaurants, supermarkets, chemists and boutique shops. It’s a 5 minute drive to Lake Karapiro, 10 minutes to Mystery Creek and our yearly popular Field Days and 10 minutes to the Avantidrome, our world class sport and leisure centre. The Hamilton airport is 15 mins away. Raglan and Mount Maunganui beaches are about an hours drive from our door as is the wonderful tourist town of Rotorua. The Maungatautari Mountain Sanctuary is our wildlife reserve with the world's longest pest proof fence. You can choose from full day treks to one and two hour bush walks. When you visit Cambridge town centre it's not hard to see why it's called the 'Town of Trees'. We have a large number of mature beautiful trees that visitors often comment give the impression of being in an English village. Cambridge is also know as the "Town of Champions' because we have had (and continue to have) many successful sportspeople training and living here. You can see the names of many of our successful rowers, cyclists, equestrian riders and others in the plaques embedded in the footpaths in the city centre.
