Beaches Motel is a 6 unit motel in a fantastic location at Waihi Beach with the beach literally just across the road and the village shops & cafes a short 5 minutes walk away. We have 1 & 2 bedroom ground floor units onsite. All the units are very spacious & are very comfortable, clean & well appointed with everything you would need for your stay. We offer free ultra fast fibre internet to all guests, In-Home Entertainment (Movies/YouTube), parking is all onsite & we have plenty of room for boat parking also. Our grounds are very spacious & well maintained. We have outdoor furniture and an area for the children to play with which includes a big trampoline and swings. Laundry facilities are available for guests to use, should you need to use them. We can always supply local knowledge for any questions you may have about the area. Waihi Beach is a small beach town at the base of the Coromandel Peninsula on the East of the North Island of NZ, a fantastic location to base yourself whilst looking around this spectacular part of the country. Waihi Beach is 2 hrs south east of Auckland, 45 mins from Tauranga, 80 mins from both Hamilton & Rotorua. Our closest towns are Waihi 10 mins to the north famous for its gold mining history & Katikati 15 mins to the south also famous for its murals. The Beach is 10kms of beautiful golden sandy beach with the Tauranga harbour at the southern end of the beach, which is a boaties paradise!! Fantastic fishing all year round, and also great surf. 10 mins to the start of the Hauraki Rail Trail which has become a very popular easy bicycle ride for the whole family which takes you through the fantastic Karangahake Gorge. Waihi Beach village is a very popular little village & has become a must visit destination with its great little shops & cafes that cater for everyone, a great place for the ladies to buy something special, Come & find out about this little gem & you will realize why this place is a great little piece of paradise.
