Five Paddocks Tamahere is a home away from home. We are conveniently located in between Hamilton and Cambridge, just a 5 minute drive from SH1, and in easy reach of Hobbiton in Matamata, Hamilton Gardens, the towns of Cambridge and Hamilton both within 8kms, a short drive to both west and east coast beaches Raglan, Waihi and the Coromandel etc and you are in Equestrian country, plus cycling trails, rowing and boating options abound and of course home is the mighty Waikato, also famous for dairy farming, lush and attractive vegetation and of course the Mighty Chiefs rugby side. We have been in our property for five years now, which is made up of five different paddocks on site (hence the name). We have invested a lot of time and effort into our outdoor gardens and our guest houses, and we take pride in welcoming guests from all over the country onto our beautiful property. We have 2 guesthouses available to book: Premium Private Guesthouse We recommend this unit for larger groups and longer stays, as this is a larger space and has all features for you be fully self contained including: - Bedroom (Queen Bed) and ensuite - Pull out sofa bed (double) - Living room - A fully equipped kitchen - Indoor and outdoor dining areas - Air conditioning - Wifi - TV with Netflix The Blue Chalet This our newly refurbished guesthouse which has been designed for smaller groups and shorter stays as this unit does not have access to a kitchen. It is however a relaxing little chalet which has: - Queen bed on ground floor - Pull out sofa bed on ground floor in same room as the queen -loft space with 2 single beds -tea & coffee making facilities with small bar fridge -Access to a bbq - Ensuite bathroom - Outdoor garden, deck and dining area

We're Chris and Jackie, and after years of running our busy family business in Auckland, we traded the hustle and bustle for the peaceful charm of the Waikato countryside. Along with our friendly border collie, Sumo, we’ve made our home here in beautiful Tamahere—and we love sharing it with others! Come and enjoy it too, You are most welcome !!
