Nautilus Retreat has been our family home for twelve years. We have raised our family here, and love living in this wonderful community. Our property is a family home with a vegetable garden and fruit trees. The only sound you hear is the waves of the Pacific Ocean, the birds singing and the wind in the trees. The spa pool is a great place from which to view the incredible night sky on a clear evening.
We have spent many years working in the travel and tourism industry, so we love to travel and discover new places. The best thing about hosting is learning about the travel adventures of our guests. In our spare time we enjoy taking weekends away and day trips on our Vespas, taking walks on Papamoa Beach, and spending time in our garden.
We are lucky to have Papamoa Beach just a few minutes' walk from our home, but there are plenty of other more vigorous walks to be enjoyed nearby. Papamoa Hills, and Mt Maunganui (Mauao) are within a short drive from Nautilus Retreat and are well worth the effort to be rewarded with stunning coastal views from the top. Papamoa and Mt Maunganui offer a huge variety of cafes and restaurants; some of which are within walking distance from the property.
