Cromwell’s River Rock Estate is a boutique vineyard, winery and cellar door with luxury vineyard accommodation and Hot Pools complex. The 1.3 hectare vineyard was first planted in 2004 and produces Pinot Gris, Chardonnay-style Pinot Gris, Two Together, Pinot Noir, Zesty Pinot Noir, Naked Pinot, Rose and Sauvignon Blanc wines and is also home to Tommy Cooper Port and now has available olive oil from its own small olive grove and Coops Honey from the family hives. The cellar door is housed in a picturesque barn which offers tastings, sales and merchandise. It is open daily from 12noon – 5pm. Accommodation at River Rock Estate offers Vineyard Ensuite rooms which cater for two adults and a cottage designed for four adults. There are two powered sites for fully self-contained camper vans. Also available is the new ‘adults only’ Hot Pools complex comprising of a private Hot Tub/Spa and inground plunge pool/swim spa, both housed in unique grain silo buildings. The Stables style Bath House has two separate baths which can accommodate two persons each. Also two outdoor tubs, a larger hot tub suitable for up to seven adults and a smaller one suitable for up to five adults set amongst a rocky setting. The Glass House which houses a two person oval tub set among an olive grove and also a Barrel style Sauna which can be booked with a hot tub or by itself. All with mountain and vineyard views.

Cromwell is now known as the hub for several bike trails including the new Lake Dunstan trail. Visitors will enjoy the estate’s restful views of the Carrick, Dunstan and Pisa Ranges and the fairways of the nearby golf course. River Rock Estate is conveniently located within a five minute walk to the Cromwell township where amenities include mini golf, shops, cafes, and restaurants.
