Bahari View is a private ground-floor apartment in Jambiani, on Zanzibar’s south-east coast, designed as a comfortable and functional place to settle in for a week or a month. Step through the garden gate and you’re on the sand, with the sea just a few steps away. Inside: air-conditioned bedroom with a hardwood bed for two and fresh linen, hand-finished bathroom with rainfall showers, and a full kitchen with a gas hob, fridge and coffee. A desk folds out from the wall when you need it. The apartment has its own garden, a washing machine, housekeeping, and Wi-Fi that is fast and stable enough for video calls and remote work. Zanzibar’s power grid can be unreliable, so we run the internet on backup batteries and provide rechargeable lights.
Your host is known for being warm, welcoming, and easy to reach whenever you need assistance. Whether it’s travel tips, local recommendations, or help during your stay, you’ll always feel supported. Fluent in both French and English, your host ensures smooth communication and a comfortable experience from start to finish.
Jambiani is a fishing village where you’ll wake up to the sound of the sea and watch the tides come and go. At low tide the water pulls back nearly a kilometre, walk out past the seaweed farms and explore. Afternoons bring the wind and kitesurfers fill the beach. Fresh fish and fruit are easy to find in the village, and there are beachfront restaurants within walking distance. Most of the east coast is within thirty minutes. Stone Town and Zanzibar Airport are both a little over an hour away, the northern beaches about two.
