Luxurious, private and comfortable retreat in the heart of the most bustling part of DC in the U Street/14 Street corridor. Steps to the best of city living, while on one of the most beautiful, quiet streets in DC, enjoy this award winning, sunny 1 BR flat. Gorgeous finishes and thoughtful touches throughout. Beautiful modern renovation to historic brick walled home.
We're a family that likes to travel to remote and relaxing places, eat well prepared sustaining and sumptuous food, and meet all kinds of people. We're architects that like to visit cultural places, but we love nature and beaches as well. We long for more simple conversations with little technology. We are long term residents of the city and our neighborhood, and happy to assist with recommendations and ideas for dinning, entertainment, tours and more throughout your stay. We can also arrange a cooked meal in the apartment. If you have any questions on how to make your stay in our city great, do not hesitate to ask. There will be a welcome manual when you get and you can contact us with any queries. We will be off-premises, but can easily come by to give you tips for a great stay!
Bars, restaurants, galleries, boutiques, coffee shops, music venues, vintage stores: the 14th Street scene has an experience for everyone. Locals and visitors throng to this exceptional streetscape for its endless allure and ceaseless excitement. Bus lines and metros within walking distance. Our neighborhood has free residential zone street parking. To obtain a parking pass you must advise us in advance so we can register your vehicle with parking enforcement for your convenience. Off street parking is available for an additional fee.
