Tranquil mountain cottage with private pool. Large, bright & serene space. 2min walk from some of the best hiking trails in Hout Bay. Gorgeous mountain views, pool, outdoor Entertainment & kitchen area. The cottage is fully equipped. There is a very spacious main bedroom upstairs with a King size extra length bed. second bedroom and living area downstairs. (second bedroom is ideal for a child or single adult) The outside area is the perfect entertainment space. The bathroom downstairs has a walk in shower, toilet & vanity. The lounge has a seating area, large couch and a desk/workspace. The outdoor kitchen is fully equipped with a Gas BBQ, 2 plate stove, gas grill, toaster, kettle, microwave, coffee plunger a large dining table & chairs, fridge / freezer, cutlery and crockery. The WIFI is backed up and there is a portable inverter at your disposal should there be any power outages. You have full access to the laundry area which has a washer, dryer, iron, ironing board. The property is very secure with electric fencing and security cameras on the perimeter of the property. Very secure neighbourhood with off street parking if needed. Uber is available in the area. PLEASE NOTE THE POOL DOES NOT HAVE A COVER AND THERE IS NO FENCE AROUND THE POOL THE ACCOMMODATION IS NOT SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN WHO ARE NOT ABLE TO SWIM. THE MAIN BEDROOM IS UPSTAIRS AND THE STAIRS ARE A LITTLE STEEP.
We are a family of 4 who live on the property. Our house is very private and no spaces are shared except for the laundry area. We have 3 dogs and 2 cats that live on the property. The cottage is completely fenced off and private.
Baviaanskloof in Hout Bay is a prestigious and naturally stunning area situated on the slopes of the Constantiaberg mountain, on the Chapman’s Peak side of Hout Bay. The area is a paradise for nature lovers, defined by its lush indigenous flora and the Baviaans River, which glides down the hillside through the area. Hout Bay has many fantastic restaurants, coffee shops and shops as well as fresh fish and chips available at the Harbour. Only 10 mins drive to beautiful wine farms in Constantia and Noordhoek area. World famous Chapmans peak drive is 4 mins from the property and one of Cape Town's most famous beaches Llandudno a 5 mins car ride. Table mountain is 15 mins away from hout bay as well as Camps Bay beach. The V&A Waterfront is 20 mins from Hout Bay.
