End your day with a proper South African braai, gather outdoors as the sun sets, and fall asleep to the rhythm of the sea. Whether you’re here for wind-driven adventure, relaxed coastal living, or quality time with friends and family, 14 Penguin Place offers the best of beachfront energy and laid-back comfort.

The beauty of Melkbosstrand lies in that while retaining its small village feel, it offers many big city comforts, e g a beautiful shopping mall called The Birkenhead Centre. Here one would find Pick and Pay, Clicks, Pep Stores, Postnet, walk-in branches of Absa and Standard Bank and many more. Melkbosstrand is home to a number of highly-acclaimed restaurants. The village is self-contained in the sense that it is rarely necessary for visitors to venture further afield to buy supplies. We have a reliable My Citi bus service. Because of its windy conditions during January and February, Melkbosstrand draws water enthusiasts - especially wind surfers - from right across the world.
