I have 2 separate self-catering apartments that can sleep up to 3 guests each. No Loadshedding as we are on Solar. The modern apartments - Strandloper and Patrys are fully equipped with a kitchenette, TV/dining area with a single bed, a separate queen-sized bedroom, and an en-suite bathroom. Each apartment features a veranda outside with barbecue facilities facing the ocean. The sea is just a short walk away. 21 ON BAKOOND is a private gem on our West Coast for a romantic getaway or a restful holiday. During spring (August - September), one can enjoy our beautiful, unique wild flowers and Fynbos. Whale-watching, walking along our beautiful coastline, and enjoying our breathtaking Sunsets will always be the highlight of your time spent at 21 ON BAKOOND in Yzerfontein.
Edith welcomes all her guests on their arrival and shows them around their apartment. She also tells them of all the interesting places to visit as well as all the restaurants in Yzerfontein. Edith is always available if you need any help or information.
Yzerfontein is a small coastal village on the West Coast of South Africa and about 80km from Cape Town. There is a Convenience store, Pharmacy Doctor and Petrol Station. Yzerfontein also has a few restaurants where delicious dishes can be enjoyed while watching the waves. Sixteen -mile beach outside of Yzerfontein is the longest uninterrupted stretch of beach on the South African coastline and ideal for a day's hike. The West Coast National Park, Darling, wine and olive farms are all a short drive away. Yzerfontein is a surfer's and windsurfer's haven with Schaap island and the Main Beach being the local surfing hotspots. Whether you are searching for a peaceful stretch of beach where you can stroll for hours on end or a scenic spot to tie the knot, Yzerfontein caters for a variety of preferences. We will be here to welcome you with open arms.
